Nissan reboots its best-selling Sentra sedan

LOS ANGELES, CALIF.—The sign on the Garment District building’s wall pretty much said it all: “This is not an evolution, it’s a revolution.” The Nissan Motor Co., on the eve of the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show’s press preview days, unveiled the all-new 2020 Nissan Sentra, a reinvention of the automaker’s bestselling North American vehicle. And that revolution the sign talked about isn’t specifically about the car; Nissan is going after a younger demographic in its quest to sell even more of the sedans (6,909 so far this year in Canada, as of Oct. 31).
